As we enter into a new year, there can be a brightening. January’s white skies and biting cold bring a sense of energy: sometimes clarity, sometimes uncertain.

What is The Cusp?

A word that comes from an etymology meaning “spear-point,” the cusp is the entry. The not-quite-but-almost. The first moments of a new aliveness in your work or your life — or sometimes just a premonition. In your creative practice, you may feel it as little seeds, nudges, clues, glimmers.

Grasp on too tight, and you might smother that tender growth.

But ignore it, and it won’t have the energy to keep arriving.

Whether you’re currently experiencing a sense of being on the cusp of something new in your practice, or just trust that your practice thrives in creative community, join us for this loving and exploratory three-week portal.

We’ll dive into philosophy, poetry, somatic practices and ritual, shadow work, journaling, and discussion to:

  • deepen our capacity to recognize The Cusp

  • hone our skills for keeping the channel open amidst uncertainty and excitement

  • ritually welcome and nurture the seeds of new growth

By the end of January, you will have befriended your current cusp in a way that opens up a portal for more flow. Expect synchronicities, magic, and emergent ideas over the weeks that follow and into the year ahead.
